Mission

ARAPhEE (Association for the Research Advancement on Photonics and Electronic Engineering) is a non profit scientific and cultural organization that operates bylaws and in compliance with its legal regulations, mainly pursuing the following aims:

organization of events, conferences and events in general associated with development, promotion and dissemination of knowledge concerning theory and applications in the fields of photonics, electronics, electromagnetism, chemistry, micro and nanotechnology, biotechnology, energy, engineering and physics in general. These initiatives also include the planning of initiatives in soft education, edutainment, e-learning and serious gaming, both in Italy and abroad, including feasibility studies in the sectors mentioned above;

organization and management of courses, seminars, internships, conferences, meetings and scientific conferences in general of engineering and/or physics on topics related to photonics, electronics, electromagnetism, chemistry, micro and nanotechnology, biotechnology, energy, even at a distance with the help offered by new technologies for e-learning. These courses can also be twinned with similar initiatives abroad;

conception, planning, production, edition and dissemination of informative and educational material both in Italy and abroad on the same topics. The association will also be able to take care of editorial collections and scientific/popular publications, with the express exclusion of the activity of publishing newspapers;

participation in national and international initiatives concerning advanced training, scientific research and industrial research, as well as international cooperation programs in developing countries, in the emerging scientific and high-impact cultural and technological themes outlined above. In this regard, the ARAPhEE will be able to adhere to all those European Technology Platforms in which the participation of the association world and stakeholders is expected; the awarding of prizes and that of scholarships and research grants for research and development programs in the fields of photonics, electronics, electromagnetism, chemistry, micro and nanotechnologies, biotechnologies, energy.
